Well, that was simple.
I finally decided to Google something that’s bothered me since I was little: What’s the difference between color and colour? Turns out, the only difference is in the way they’re spelled; we as Americans dropped the ‘u’ from the British word colour - nothing more.

While I was working at ColdStone today, a woman and her children came in and proceeded to place their order. The two children created their own and got ice cream with mix-ins, and afterward the mom said “you guys don’t need all that…but I guess it’ll be fine.” Then she placed her order, getting just a small cup of the only fat free ice cream we have.
